Last week’s Tiger Lily was pretty awesome thanks to all that came down laughed and help support me. You guys are the best in the world!

This week is going to be a hell of a time! Greg Barris and his residency come to close this Monday and well what can we say it was a super fun time. Much like he has taken over our hearts, our minds, our spirit (and bodies? I don’t know you would have to ask the ladies in the audience) these past few weeks Greg Barris will be taking over Tiger Lily! Which it to say expect the unexpected. We will have the band the You are Forgiven Choir backing up the show all nite, so needless to say this is not to be missed! It is going to be a grandtastic show so see ya Monday!

Mon 9/20 ~What's Up, Tiger Lily?~ the Fundraiser Show!

Last week’s Tiger Lily was beyond amazing, speechless the crowd, the line up, the people, the comedians, everybody made it a wonderful nite. Sometimes magic happens and wow it totally did!

This week we are going to change it up a bit. This week’s show is going to be a fundraiser of sorts. For those of you unaware, I’m Jazz Ponce the booker for TigerLily and my grandfather lost his battle with bone cancer last week and well we will be holding a fundraiser to help pay for funeral costs.

My grandfather Phil Garcia (1923-2010) was probably one of the funniest guys I will ever know, he had a joke for every occasion especially good dirty ones. He was one of the first people to make me laugh and well he never ever really stopped. I think I inherited my love to laugh and love of comedy from him.. If you ever wanted to know what it was like to have George Burns as your grandfather, he was your man. One of his greatest joys was making people laugh, a non stop joker. I know that he was proud of my work with TigerLily knowing that every week I helped to bring people together to have a good time and laugh!

So come down donate your laughter and if you can donate some money. It would be greatly appreciated. It is going to be a grandtastic show so see ya Monday!

Mon 9/13 ~What's Up, Tiger Lily?~ Line Up !!!

Last week’s Tiger Lily was pretty awesome! MC BP (Brandie Posey to you all) was a fantastic host! Greg Barris kicked off his residency with a bang! Jackie Gold shared with us her ideas for taming other people’s crying kids while Eli Olsberg warned us with tales of his treacherous yet funny love life ( who’d thunk it?). Brent Weinbach had us all rethink shopping at “Ralphs” in the future while Dave Huntsberger did what he does best made us think and laugh hysterically.We were also lucky to have the lovely Melinda Hill drop by! Boston comedian Ken Reid closed the show telling us hilarious tales of his family you know like that one time his dad fought raccoons! All the performers on the show did awesome! Thanks to all that came, performed and laughed!

This week is destined to me terrific! Two of my comedy idols on one bill?!! So whatcha waiting for? See ya Monday!

Greg Barris in residency for September!

Here @ TigerLily we believe there is never too much of a good thing and well with that idealogy we have decided to continue with our new tradition the monthly residency! Most often seen in music clubs it is something we have come to love. It allows for comedians who may be in town for a short while or seasoned ones to try out new things, go crazy and entertain us! Comedian Rory Scovel was the first and the hilarious super great Chris Hardwick was our second.
